It often occurs after severe weight loss or pregnancy, when the skin can no longer shrink despite diet, exercise and normal weight loss. This mainly happens with:<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li>severe weight loss - especially after stomach reduction surgery<\/li><li>Pregnancies<\/li><li>Weak or genetically determined connective tissue<\/li><li>long-term weight fluctuations<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>When the skin's elasticity is exhausted, it can no longer retract. Although the body reshapes itself, the skin mantle remains too large.
