ENDOLIFT® BERLIN

  • Minimally invasive laser treatment: Use of fine disposable optical fibres in the superficial subcutaneous tissue - without surgical incisions.
  • Application-orientated approach: Depending on the initial situation, the focus can be on different tissue layers (e.g. superficial structures, deeper skin structure, subcutaneous tissue).
  • Outpatient setting: Treatment is usually carried out on an outpatient basis; the specific procedure is planned individually.
  • Individual course: Which changes are perceived and how the process develops depends, among other things, on the initial findings, tissue quality and personal factors.

Endolift® is a minimally invasive procedure used in aesthetic medicine. It uses very fine, sterile, disposable optical fibres to deliver laser energy to specific tissue layers under the skin. The aim is to treat structures associated with skin quality, contour and subcutaneous tissue - always in relation to the individual starting position.

The special technical feature lies in the selective release of energy in the tissue. Which settings are appropriate depends on the findings, region and treatment objective and is determined in a personal consultation.

What is Endolift®?

Endolift® is a minimally invasive laser procedure in which very fine disposable optical fibres are inserted into defined tissue layers under the skin. Depending on the initial findings, the focus can be on different structures. Whether Endolift® makes sense depends on skin quality, tissue elasticity, fat distribution and the desired change.

The Endolift® laser system (LASEmaR® 1500) is used. Information on certifications and authorisation status - if relevant - will be included in the personal consultation.

In a preparatory consultation, we discuss the individual cause of the tissue change and categorise Endolift® within the spectrum of options. Depending on the initial situation, the procedure can be a non-surgical addition to other treatment options or be discussed as an intermediate step between conservative and surgical procedures.

Endolift® can also be used in other areas of the body (e.g. décolleté, abdomen, upper arms, thighs or knee area) - depending on the findings, tissue quality and medical assessment.

How does treatment with Endolift® in Berlin work?

The treatment is performed on an outpatient basis. Sterile, very fine disposable optical fibres are inserted into the superficial subcutaneous tissue via small puncture points. The energy output is controlled so that different tissue layers can be addressed. Which region(s) are treated and which parameters are appropriate is determined on an individual basis.

Depending on the area and sensation, cooling and/or a local anaesthetic can be used. After the treatment, temporary reactions such as redness, swelling or tenderness are possible; the severity and duration are individual.

What results can be achieved with Endolift®?

Which changes are perceived depends heavily on the initial situation (tissue quality, elasticity, fat distribution, pre-treatments, lifestyle). Many describe the development as a gradual process that can unfold over several weeks. Repetitions or combinations within an overall concept can also be the subject of counselling, depending on the findings.

During the consultation, we openly clarify what is realistic, where the limits are and which alternatives (including surgical options) may be medically more sensible.

FAQ about Endolift®

What exactly does Endolift® mean and what does it do?

Endolift® is a minimally invasive laser procedure in which energy is introduced into defined tissue layers under the skin via fine disposable optical fibres. Which targets are in the foreground in each individual case (e.g. skin/connective tissue structures, contour issues such as the jawline, subcutaneous tissue, fatty tissue) depends on your initial situation and is planned individually. The treatment is performed on an outpatient basis and does not require surgical incisions.

1

How does the therapy work in detail?

The optical fibres are inserted into the superficial subcutaneous tissue via small puncture points. Depending on the region, cooling and/or a local anaesthetic may be used. After the treatment, temporary reactions such as redness, swelling or tenderness are possible. The further course is individual and develops over several weeks.

2

Which areas of the body can be treated with Endolift®?

Typical areas of application include the neck/lower chin region, jawline, cheek region and the lower eyelid area. Depending on the findings and medical assessment, the procedure can also be used on body regions such as the abdomen, upper arms, thighs or knee area. We determine whether a region is suitable after an examination and definition of the target.

3

Will I feel any pain during or after the procedure and when will I be able to return to my normal routine?

Many find the treatment well tolerated; however, this varies from person to person. Reactions after the treatment (e.g. swelling, haematomas, tenderness or temporary discolouration) can also occur individually. Most people are able to resume their everyday activities quickly; we will discuss what is realistic in your case in advance based on the region, extent and personal situation.

4

Can the therapy be used at any age and on different skin conditions or skin qualities?

Whether Endolift® is suitable depends less on age than on tissue quality, elasticity, fat distribution and the desired goal. If skin sagging is very pronounced, a surgical option may be more appropriate. Endolift® can then - depending on the findings - be discussed as a supplement or intermediate step.

5

When will the result be visible and how long will it last?

Perceptions and results differ. Some people notice changes early on, while for others the impression develops gradually over several weeks. The development time and duration are also individual and are influenced by the initial situation, tissue quality and lifestyle, among other things. During the consultation, we will realistically assess what can be expected in your case.

6

Does Endolift® only tighten the skin or does it have other effects?

Depending on the setting and region, the procedure can be used in different tissue layers. Which targets are medically appropriate is determined on an individual basis and depends on the findings, tissue quality and treatment plan.

7

How long does the procedure take and can the entire face be treated in one session?

Several facial areas are often differentiated (e.g. neck/lower chin, lower jaw contour, cheeks/nasolabial region, eye area). Planning is done in zones. One zone often takes about 45 minutes; whether and which combinations are useful depends on the findings and the planned scope.

8

How does the treatment differ from other methods of facial rejuvenation?

Differences include invasiveness, treatment level (superficial vs. deep) and objectives. Endolift® is a non-surgical procedure without surgical incisions. Which method is most suitable depends on the initial situation, the desired change and the question of whether conservative, minimally invasive or surgical procedures make more medical sense.

9

Are there complementary measures to this treatment?

Depending on the initial situation, a treatment concept may also include other procedures (e.g. injections or laser procedures). Whether additions make sense and the order in which they are planned is decided on an individual basis and clearly explained in the consultation.
