The German Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (DGPRÄC) provides information: The title of specialist in plastic and aesthetic surgery is protected and requires at least six years of training as well as regular further training. The term "cosmetic surgeon", on the other hand, is not a professionally recognised title by the State Medical Association and does not have to be backed up by qualified training. Aesthetic surgery aims to harmonise the external appearance. This can be the correction of protruding ears, overly large breasts or deep wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid is a highly water-binding sugar structure (glycosaminoglycan) that stimulates collagen formation in the human body and gives the skin elasticity. It is produced artificially without animal testing or animal ingredients. The acid is also a popular ingredient in skin creams. In the body, hyaluronic acid is found, for example, as a component of synovial fluid ("synovia") and the vitreous humour in the eye.

Conservative treatment options are now highly valued out of respect for the overly drastic results of cosmetic surgery. Botox, fillers and the like account for over 50% of aesthetic medicine treatments, and the trend is rising. The treatment techniques and available materials are constantly evolving and allow for safe and effective application. The spectrum ranges from the treatment of forehead wrinkles, eye wrinkles and frown lines with Botox to volumising therapy with hyaluronic acid fillers on the lips, cheeks and nasolabial folds. Thanks to years of experience and training at the Allergan Medical Institute, Dr Noack can also offer special treatments such as the treatment of tired eyes (dark circles) and the 8-point liquid lift.
