Facial peeling for Skin rejuvenation with BensiPeel™

The skin peeling "BensiPeel™" offers possibly the best results of any chemical peel available today for surface facial skin rejuvenation. If successful, it can change the deep structures of the skin and provide a lasting and significant improvement in facial wrinkles caused by age and/or sun exposure. Bensipeel™ was developed by Dr Richard Bensimon, USA, an internationally recognised authority in the field of chemical facial peels.

Dr Noack has learnt this technique directly from Dr Bensimon and offers the BensiPeel™ chemical peel exclusively at Aesthetics Berlin to.

What is BensiPeel™ ?

BensiPeel™ is a special combination of acidic solutions that have been used in medicine for more than a hundred years. When applied to the skin, it sloughs off old, damaged cells, stimulating the growth of new healthy skin cells. There are probably few methods that can match the impressive results of this treatment. A significant improvement in skin texture and colour leads to healthy, fresh-looking skin. Current studies suggest, for example, that skin cancers such as basal cell carcinoma (the most common skin tumour in the world) and squamous cell carcinoma could possibly be destroyed by peeling off the upper layers of the skin before they are even visible.

History of the facial peeling

There is a fascinating history surrounding the development of facial peels over the last century. Facial peels were brought to the United States from Europe at the beginning of the 20th century, not by doctors but by lay practitioners. They had top secret formulas and enjoyed considerable success, especially in Hollywood. As their popularity grew, the medical profession fought with them rather than learning from them and little progress was made.

A specific formula was finally further developed and publicised by a plastic surgeon in Florida in 1961. However, the peeling gave the skin a ghostly white, albaster-like and unnatural appearance and was therefore only reserved for selected patients without really becoming popular.
The formula remained unchanged for decades until Dr Gregory Hetter, through a series of elegant experiments, was able to identify the active ingredient in the formulation. He improved the formula and developed a technique with highly reproducible results. He published his work in 2000, which became a classic in the plastic surgery literature of chemical peels.
After several years of experience with the Hetter technique, Dr Bensimon recognised the great versatility of the technique and by further modifying the procedure, a wider range of ages and skin types can now benefit from it. With the development of BensiPeel™, it is even possible to peel without the use of a general anaesthetic.

Comprehensive Facial rejuvenation

There are three main components of facial ageing: sagging skin, loss of volume and changes in the texture of the skin. Sagging skin can be treated with surgery. Loss of volume under the skin can be treated with dermal fillers and autologous fat injections. But structural changes in the skin can only be corrected by changing the skin itself.

The BensiPeel™ could be the missing piece of the puzzle for complete and comprehensive facial rejuvenation. Damaged, wrinkled, aged skin becomes skin with a radiant, smoother and healthier surface after a successful treatment. While Facelift operations while still excellent for improving structural age-related changes to the face, these operations do not help to substantially improve wrinkles around the mouth, for example. A facelift in combination with this peeling and volume-giving autologous fat injections can achieve the best possible aesthetic results.

Even annoying wrinkling of the lower eyelids, which usually begins at the age of 30-40, can be permanently improved in some cases. Sometimes even as an alternative to Lower eyelid lift.

BensiPeel™, whether alone or in combination with surgery, can be a powerful tool to combat age-related changes in the skin.
The remarkable results and their longevity are currently achieved by only a few skin structure improvement techniques and represent a significant advance in the field of plastic surgery.
