Two methods can be used to alleviate excessive sweating in the armpit area: On the one hand Botox a temporary option for reducing perspiration. The product, which is otherwise used to treat wrinkles, is injected directly into the armpit skin. The average duration of effect is 6 months. On the other hand, suction of the sweat glands can lead to a permanent reduction in sweat production. The technique is similar to the procedure used for liposuction.
