Customised neck lift methods for optimal results

In our practice, we offer various neck lift methods to meet the different needs and goals of our patients. Each procedure has its own specific advantages and is selected after careful consideration and in close consultation with the patient.

The lower third of the face, particularly the chin line, and the neck are treated in combination with increasing age. This is because the sagging soft tissue in the cheeks slides over the jawline and appears to form a single unit with the sagging neck tissue. This then manifests itself in a worsened chin contour, especially when viewed from the side. A harmonious, natural and complete result can only be achieved if both parts are treated together.

Deep-plane neck lift: complete rejuvenation and contour improvement of the neck and chin line (jawline)

The term deep-plane neck lift has the same background as the deep-plane facelift: deep structures of the neck tissue beneath the skin are also treated. As the neck changes with age, several parameters interact (see illustration): The sagging neck skin, the cords of the platysma muscle, the fatty tissue under the chin, the so-called digastric muscle and the submandibular gland.

Only by addressing all of these areas during a deep-plane neck lift can a significant and lasting improvement in the chin line and neck contour be achieved.

In some situations, an incision below the chin of approx. 4.5 cm may be sufficient to achieve a good result. In other cases, e.g. severe skin sagging or in combination with a facelift, incisions are made in the hairline behind the ear, which are later very inconspicuous.

Combination with a lower cheek lift: a holistic approach for harmonious results

In selected cases, it may be possible to combine the neck lift with a lower cheek lift (a "small" facelift of the lower third of the face). This offers a comprehensive rejuvenation of the neck and jawline (jawline) and ensures a more harmonious appearance.

Localised increased fat (double chin): Liposuction procedure for targeted fat reduction

In individual cases, patients with a double chin solely due to localised increased fatty tissue may only require a liposuction procedure (Liposuction) can be used. This involves the targeted removal of excess fat using fine cannulas to contour and tighten the neck area if a significantly improved result can be expected.

Minimally invasive neck lift with radiofrequency energy (Facetite) or laser (Endolift) as an additional or sole tightening option.

With the Endolift or the Facetite procedure, the skin on the face and/or neck can be tightened using controlled heat application and collagen production in the tissue can be stimulated by stimulating repair processes. Excess fatty tissue can also be dissolved.

This procedure is performed under local anaesthetic.

Non-invasive cold treatment: cryolipolysis for localised fat reduction

The Cryolipolysis is a non-invasive method for localised fat reduction in the neck area directly under the chin (double chin). The fatty tissue is cooled in a targeted manner, which leads to the destruction of the fat cells and their breakdown by the body. This procedure is particularly suitable for patients who are looking for an alternative to liposuction without surgery.

A neck lift is performed in several stages to achieve an optimal result:

Die OP unter Vollnarkose verlief ohne Komplikationen und die Heilung der Narben und Schwellungen gingen, so wie besprochen, nach ca. 3 bis 4 Wochen zurück und sind heute nicht mehr sichtbar.
Ich bin von Dr. Niklas Noack absolut begeistert  - menschlich sowie seine Expertise in der plastischen Chirurgie haben meine Erwartungen übertroffen. Das Beratungsgespräch, der OP Tag und die Nachsorge waren super angenehm und sehr professionell.
