Methods of wrinkle treatment and facial rejuvenation
Overview

Botox, hyaluronic acid and autologous fat

Below you will find an overview of the methods and treatments that I can offer you in my clinic. Practice in Berlin for non-surgical wrinkle treatment with Botox and fillers. On our infographic you will find many helpful facts about wrinkle treatment and facial rejuvenation with Botox and hyaluronic acid.

Botox

The well-known term "Botox" is actually a short form for the active ingredient botulinum toxin.

The active ingredient is a metabolic product of the bacterial strain "Clostridium Botulinum". It is actually a neurotoxin that can even be fatal in excessive doses. In wrinkle treatment, however, only minimal quantities are required, which are absolutely harmless. When used professionally, botulinum toxin interrupts the transmission of impulses to the muscle. This weakening of the muscle makes the face appear smoother and more relaxed in the treated areas, and the wrinkles in the treated areas are less deep.

Hyaluronic acid

Hyaluronic acid is a highly water-binding sugar structure (glycosaminoglycan) that stimulates collagen formation in the human body and gives the skin elasticity. It is produced artificially without animal testing or animal ingredients. The acid is also a popular ingredient in skin creams. In the body, hyaluronic acid is found, for example, as a component of synovial fluid ("synovia") and the vitreous humour in the eye. The most commonly used filler at present is so-called "cross-linked hyaluronic acid". It is now used even more frequently than collagen, as it is particularly well tolerated by the skin and no allergy test is required before use.

Autologous fat

This method uses the body's own fat, which is harvested under local or general anaesthetic in a similar way to liposuction. During liposuction, the fat is extracted from areas with excess fat, processed and then injected into the corresponding area of the face. Only small amounts are required for the facial area. Unfortunately, the removal sites do not "benefit" much from the removed fat. The injection must be repeated once or twice at intervals of a few weeks or months to achieve the desired result, as some (30-40%) of the autologous fat is broken down again by the body.

The MD-Codes technique

Hyaluronic acid and Botox applied by a specialist

MeDical or MD codes are a series of pre-defined areas on the face that have been precisely worked out over the years, where Dr Noack injects dermal fillers (hyaluronic acid) and Botox to achieve optimal, natural results. The technique was developed by Dr Mauricio de Maio, a world-renowned plastic surgeon from Sao Paulo, Brazil. In recent years, this has permanently changed the way we use hyaluronic acid fillers and Botox in aesthetic medicine.
Dr Noack has extensive experience in the use of high quality specialist injectables and routinely uses Dr de Maio's MD codes in her treatments.
The MD codes cover the entire face. More specifically, they refer to injection sites on the cheeks, temples, around the eyes, chin, jaw, forehead and lips. There are over 75 different MD codes for the face, making filler and Botox therapies a very precise, refined and, above all, natural-looking treatment

For many years, Dr Noack has received regular further training from Dr de Maio himself.
